The M-65 has become the staple design for an Army Field Jacket, in retrospect that is because countless brands have made M-65 inspired jackets. The original like this one was made famous by Robert de Niro wearing it in Taxi Driver. This jacket has since made its way into the streets in many different colors, materials and variations. The jackets we sell are all originals from 1965 onwards. The jacket succeeded the M-51 which was worn during the Korea War, of which we also have a few specimens every now and than. The M-65 is the Vietnam War Field Jacket, made famous maybe even more by the soldiers coming back from that war and protesting against it wearing the M-65's. A comfortable fit is combined with a great design. So both looks and functionality are taken care of. This one is a Small which is easily one of the more hard ones to find as they are generally Regular or Large. It comes with an original detachable liner which makes this a really warm jacket when worn with the liner.
