Lee Hickory Striped Coverall

Not specified

Henry David Lee founded his company in 1889, originally a dry goods company, HD Lee looked for ways to provide his employees with suitable clothing. When delivery of the clothing took to long, he basically started making it himself. The rest is history so to say.
This workman's coverall is surely a piece of this history. It is an original hickory striped model with a lot of very cool details. For example the easy access front pockets which would have been used to carry nails and other small items. But also the several side loops through which a hammer or other tool could be hanged.
This piece is in great condition for it's age and keeping in mind that this was workwear and this often heavily used. By looking at the various tags this piece is dated early 1950s.
